Prophetic Business Conference Set to Ignite Ghana’s Marketplace on March 3

The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated events on the national calendar, as the Prophetic Business Empowerment Conference (PBEC) is set to take off on the evening of Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the UPSA Auditorium.

Running until Saturday, March 7, the five-day event is expected to draw thousands of Ghanaians from all walks of life. While the conference has a strong partnership with the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), organizers have emphasized that the doors are open wide to the general public—from market women and small business owners to corporate executives and the youth.

At the center of the gathering will be Prophet Nana Yaw Obeng, founder of the Prophetic Business Empowerment Ministry, who is expected to deliver a series of powerful sermons aimed at unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of the nation.

A Divine Word for the Nation

Speaking ahead of the conference, Prophet Obeng revealed that this year’s theme, “Enlargement in the marketplace,” is a divine mandate for the season. He stressed that the message is not just for students but for every Ghanaian seeking to break free from financial limitations.

“We are in a season of entrepreneurship; we are in a season of wealth creation,” Prophet Obeng declared. “This is the time for every child of God to understand what God is doing in the business arena in order to walk in success.”

Citing 1 Chronicles 12:32—which speaks of the men of Issachar who “understood the times and knew what Israel should do”—the Prophet will challenge attendees to recognize that divine timing is key to accessing blessings.

He is also expected to deliver a strong prophetic declaration that a person’s background, educational level, or social status does not determine their capacity to make a generational impact. The message will aim to shift mindsets from dependency to self-reliance, urging Ghanaians to see business as a pathway to both personal breakthrough and national development.

Blending Spirituality with Practical Skills

While the evenings will be charged with prophetic ministration, the conference is designed to be highly practical. Sessions will commence each day at 6:00 p.m., combining spiritual insights with hands-on business training.

Thanks to a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Ministry and UPSA, student attendees will have their participation integrated into academic assessments, requiring them to pitch business ideas for evaluation. However, non-students will not be left out. Successful business ideas pitched during the conference—regardless of whether they come from students or members of the public—will receive tangible support, including training in income-generating skills such as CCTV installation, sound engineering, and video production.

This model represents a growing collaboration between faith-based organizations and academic institutions in Ghana to tackle unemployment by equipping citizens with the tools to create their own jobs.

A Call to All Ghanaians

As March 3 approaches, the Prophet is rallying the nation to attend.

“This is not just a church program; it is a national empowerment event,” Prophet Obeng urged. “Whether you are a trader in Makola, a young graduate searching for a job, or a business owner looking for direction, this conference is for you. Come with an expectant heart, and let us walk into our season of enlargement together.”

With a theme focused on ethical innovation and expansion in the marketplace, the 2026 PBEC promises to be a transformative experience for all Ghanaians seeking to turn their dreams into reality.
