Asante Kotoko’s Communications Director, Sarfo Duku Esq., has expressed strong disappointment in former management member Dr Kwame Baah Nuako over recent comments concerning the club.
Dr Baah Nuako, speaking in a radio interview, argued that Kotoko’s current difficulties are not rooted in coaching but rather in what he described as poor management by the club’s Interim Management Committee (IMC).
Responding to the remarks, Mr Duku described the comments as “hypocritical” and unfortunate, insisting they risk damaging the image of the club.
According to Mr Duku, the circumstances during Dr Baah Nuako’s tenure at Kotoko were markedly different from the present day, noting that there were fewer media outlets and no social media scrutiny at the time.
“With the comments he has made, I see it as a show of hypocrisy. Instead of protecting the image of the club as a devoted member of the Kotoko family, he seeks to bring it into disrepute. I am highly disappointed in him,” Mr Duku stated.
