Soccer Intellectuals Ladies team are delighted to confirm the signing of promising defender Halidu Taiba Daabu ahead of the 2025/26 Women’s Premier League season.

The young defender joins from Sung Shining Ladies FC, where she impressed with her composure, tactical awareness, and strong defensive displays over the past two seasons. Known for her ability to read the game and her calmness under pressure, Daabu is regarded as one of the brightest young defenders emerging from the Northern Zone.

Daabu will wear the number 15 shirt for the season and is expected to play a vital role in solidifying the backline as the team prepares for what promises to be a highly competitive campaign.

Soccer Intellectuals Ladies continue to build a youthful and dynamic squad, combining experience with fresh talent, as part of the club’s long-term vision to compete strongly in the national league and nurture future stars for Ghanaian women’s football.
