Stugard Supports Grassroots Sports with GH¢12,500 Donation, Urges Discipline Among Players

Honourable Dickson Kyere-Duah (popularly known as Stugard), Member of Parliament for Berekum West, has extended financial support to the Berekum West team with a donation of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢10,000.00) to cover expenses.

As part of the gesture, he allocated One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,000.00) for players’ refreshments, presented Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500.00) to support the winning team, Dormaa Central, and contributed One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,000.00) to the regional organisers of the Inter-District Basic Schools Games held at Bess.

In total, Honourable Kyere-Duah’s contribution amounted to Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢12,500.00).

During the presentation, he urged the players to refrain from drug abuse and acts of indiscipline, stressing that discipline and hard work are essential in order to reach the highest level of their sporting careers.
