The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) is set to host the Golden Jubilee (50th) edition of the prestigious SWAG Awards on 15 November 2025 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

This year’s ceremony will be a grand celebration of five decades of promoting sporting excellence in Ghana, featuring a star-studded line-up, captivating performances, and unforgettable moments.

In the build-up to the main event, SWAG will organise a series of activities aimed at fostering positive partnerships, advancing sports development, and celebrating excellence across the country.

The 50th edition of the SWAG Awards will honour and recognise outstanding sportsmen and women who have distinguished themselves during the year under review, cementing their place among Ghana’s finest.

SWAG has called on stakeholders and corporate Ghana to join in commemorating this landmark occasion, which remains the nation’s longest-running awards ceremony.

The 15 November gala is anticipated to be a spectacular affair, bringing together the crème de la crème of Ghana’s sporting fraternity, alongside distinguished personalities, to celebrate and honour sporting achievement.

For half a century, the SWAG Awards have stood as a pillar in recognising and celebrating Ghana’s sporting heroes and heroines.
