Swedru All Blacks Fans Threaten Nude Protest Over Coach’s Future

Supporters of Swedru All Blacks have threatened to stage a nude protest at the club’s training grounds on Tuesday if the head coach is not dismissed.

The agitation follows the team’s goalless draw against Accra Hearts of Oak last Saturday at the Swedru Stadium in their week nine fixture of the Ghana Premier League. The result has prolonged the club’s difficult start to the season, leaving them 16th on the 18-club league table with only eight points.

Irked by the club’s poor form, some supporters—speaking to local journalists after the match—accused the coach of lacking tactical clarity and failing to motivate the squad. They argue that, despite the availability of talented players, the team has shown “little progress and no identifiable playing style”.

According to the angry fans, the planned nude protest is intended to force management to take immediate action to “prevent the club from sinking deeper into relegation trouble”. They insist that only a change in technical leadership can help revitalise the team’s season.

Club officials have not released an official statement on the matter, but sources indicate that an emergency meeting may be convened before Tuesday’s training session to consider the concerns of the supporters and address the growing tensions.

Swedru All Blacks, a club with a long history and passionate fan base, now faces mounting pressure both on and off the pitch as they struggle to lift themselves from the lower ranks of the league standings.
