Team Ghana to Unveil Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Roadmap at Media Launch

Team Ghana will officially launch its campaign towards the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games at a media briefing scheduled for Tuesday, 2 June 2026, in Accra.

The event will provide journalists, stakeholders and sports enthusiasts with an opportunity to gain insight into the nation’s preparations for one of the world’s premier multi-sport competitions. Officials are expected to outline Team Ghana’s strategic roadmap, athlete development plans and participation objectives as the country intensifies preparations for the Games.

The briefing will take place at the Central Hotel in Accra, with guests expected to arrive promptly at 12:30 pm.

The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games represents a significant milestone for Ghanaian athletes, many of whom are already engaged in rigorous training programmes aimed at achieving success on the international stage. Team Ghana’s participation is expected to showcase the nation’s sporting talent while strengthening its presence within the Commonwealth sporting community.

Organisers have extended an invitation to members of the media to attend the launch and engage with officials on Ghana’s ambitions and preparations for the Games.
