The Ghanaian football fraternity has been left in shock following the passing of former Black Galaxies head coach, Daniel Annor Walker.
According to sources close to Ghana Sports Page, the highly respected tactician died in Accra after a brief illness. He was 65 years old.
Annor Walker enjoyed a distinguished coaching career, serving as head coach of Berekum Chelsea and Accra Great Olympics. He also held key roles at Nania FC between 2005 and 2011, where he first worked as assistant coach before assuming the role of head coach. During his tenure, he guided the club to its historic triumph in the 2011 MTN FA Cup final, defeating giants Asante Kotoko.
At the time of his passing, he was serving as Technical Advisor to Ghana Premier League side Vision FC.
His death marks a great loss to Ghanaian football, where he will be remembered as a tactician of immense experience and a mentor to many within the sport.
