Brazilian super star Vinicious Jr emerged the Best Player of the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup after defeating Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia 5-3 in the finals of the competition in Rabat, Morocco on Saturday night.
The Brazilian forward won the Adidas Golden Ball which is awarded to the best player by the FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG).
His team–mate, Federico Valverde came second while Luciano Vietto of Al Hilal was third.
Real Madrid also got the FIFA Fair Play Trophy.
The Golden Ball was awarded to the best player in the World Cup based on a ranking compiled by the FIFA Technical Study Group.
A Silver Ball and a Bronze Ball will be awarded to the second and third best players.
