Yiadom Trades Phobian Stripes for Israeli Green at Hapoel Kfar Saba

Israeli second-tier outfit Hapoel Kfar Saba have officially announced the signing of former Hearts of Oak defender Konadu Yiadom ahead of the 2025–26 season.

The 25-year-old centre-back has penned a three-year contract with the Green and White side following the expiration of his contract with the Ghanaian giants.

Despite several efforts by Hearts of Oak to extend his stay, Yiadom and his representatives declined the club’s renewal offer, opting instead for a move abroad to continue his career in Israel.

During the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League campaign, Yiadom featured in 18 matches, scoring once for the Phobians. He returned to the club following an unsuccessful loan spell at Ukrainian side Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih during the 2023–24 season.

Yiadom initially joined Hearts of Oak from WAFA in 2022 and made 38 league appearances in total, scoring three goals. His final game for the club came during the 2025 President’s Cup, in which Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-1 defeat to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.

The towering defender is expected to play a key role for Hapoel Kfar Saba as they push for promotion to the Israeli Premier League.
