Parin FC remains on top of the league table in Zone Two of the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Division Three after beating Achimota Olympiakos 2-1 over the weekend at the Achimota College Park.

Without three starters; skipper Edward Osei, Michael Ayertey, and Paul Awudu, Coach Eric Nyarko was able to map out a good strategy to overcome the struggling but determined Olympiakos side.

Two first half goals from Abdul Ismail Shakur Kishk, who stood in for Ayertey, was enough to give Parin FC the three maximum points at stake.

The two goals stood till the close of the half, and on resumption, Parin FC were bent on increasing the tally, but the home side stood firm to keep the attackers at bay.

However, Olympiakos managed to pull one back in the later stages of the game.

But it was not enough to grant them the maxim points and to keep them out of the relegation zone.

Parin remains on top of the table with 38 points out of 15 matches, with six more matches to go.
