Medeama SC have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League following a commanding 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The emphatic triumph sealed the title for the Mauve and Yellows with a game to spare, marking the club’s second Ghana Premier League crown and another major milestone in their remarkable rise within Ghanaian football over the past four seasons.
Medeama delivered a scintillating attacking display in front of a jubilant home crowd, with Kelvin Obeng and Derrick Fordjour each netting superb braces, while Prince Owusu added the fifth goal to cap off a memorable afternoon for the Tarkwa-based side.
The atmosphere inside the TnA Stadium was electric as supporters celebrated a historic achievement in grand style. Fans were treated to pre-match entertainment from popular Ghanaian music duo DopeNation, whose energetic performance added to the festive mood ahead of the official trophy presentation ceremony.
