Medeama SC have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League following a commanding 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.

The emphatic triumph sealed the title for the Mauve and Yellows with a game to spare, marking the club’s second Ghana Premier League crown and another major milestone in their remarkable rise within Ghanaian football over the past four seasons.

Medeama delivered a scintillating attacking display in front of a jubilant home crowd, with Kelvin Obeng and Derrick Fordjour each netting superb braces, while Prince Owusu added the fifth goal to cap off a memorable afternoon for the Tarkwa-based side.

The atmosphere inside the TnA Stadium was electric as supporters celebrated a historic achievement in grand style. Fans were treated to pre-match entertainment from popular Ghanaian music duo DopeNation, whose energetic performance added to the festive mood ahead of the official trophy presentation ceremony.

The victory further underlined Medeama’s dominance throughout the campaign, with the club combining attacking flair, consistency, and resilience to emerge as deserved champions of the Ghanaian top flight.

Following their league success, Medeama SC will now turn their attention to continental football, where they are set to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League.
