Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly signed a record-breaking new contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, valued at an astonishing £492 million over two years.
The lucrative deal not only includes his playing wages but also features a significant signing-on fee of £24.5 million, as well as a stake in the club—further underlining the Portuguese star’s influence both on and off the pitch.
Ronaldo, 40, joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 and has since been a central figure in the Saudi Pro League’s growing global appeal. The new contract is believed to make him the highest-paid athlete in the world, surpassing even his previous earnings.
The agreement reflects the club’s ambition to continue building its brand around the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, while also rewarding his contributions to their rise in prominence since his arrival.
