Ghana international Daniel Amartey has extended a kind gesture to Accra Hearts of Oak by donating several packs of bottled water and assorted beverages to the team at their training grounds.

Amartey, a versatile defender who currently plies his trade with Turkish club Beşiktaş, is well known for his leadership qualities and patriotism. The former Leicester City man, who was part of Ghana’s squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, made the donation as a show of solidarity and support for local football development.

Accra Hearts of Oak, one of Ghana’s most decorated and historic football clubs, have won the Ghana Premier League a record 21 times and were crowned CAF Champions League winners in 2000. The club is currently preparing for the upcoming football season, and Amartey’s timely gesture was warmly received by players and technical staff alike.

The act not only underscores Amartey’s strong ties to Ghanaian football but also reflects the growing call for support towards local teams from established professionals abroad.
