A Champion of the People: Theo Lopez Concludes ‘KO Teenage Pregnancy Campaign’ Outreach at Bishop Mixed School
Multiple title-holder Theophilus Kpakpo Allotey, popularly known as Theo Lopez, has successfully brought the final outreach of his KO Teenage Pregnancy Campaign to a close with an inspiring visit to Bishop Mixed School in Accra.

The celebrated boxer engaged final-year students in an impactful and educational session focused on the dangers of teenage pregnancy, the importance of making informed life choices, and the need to remain committed to their education and future ambitions. His appearance generated excitement among students and staff, who warmly welcomed the sports star and social advocate.

As part of the outreach, Theo Lopez donated exercise books specially branded with messages designed to raise awareness about teenage pregnancy and encourage responsible behaviour among young people. The initiative forms part of his broader mission to use his platform in sport to inspire positive change in communities across Ghana.
Addressing the students, Theo Lopez urged them to stay focused and avoid distractions that could derail their dreams.
“Success does not come overnight. It takes consistency, discipline and commitment. Believe in yourselves, respect your education and make decisions today that will protect your future,” he told the students.
He also stressed that sport can be more than competition, describing it as a powerful vehicle for education, empowerment and national development.
School authorities praised the boxer for taking time out of his busy schedule to invest in the lives of young people, describing the session as timely, motivating and highly beneficial for students preparing for the next stage of their academic journey.
Theo Lopez has earned admiration both inside and outside the ring for combining sporting excellence with community service. Through initiatives such as the KO Teenage Pregnancy Campaign, he continues to demonstrate that champions are not only made by titles won, but also by the lives they positively impact.
