‘I am enjoying every moment here’ – Antoine Semenyo reacts to perfect Man City start

Antoine Semenyo is off to a very explosive start at his new club Manchester City and has described it as the perfect place for him and added he is enjoying all the moment.

The lanky attacker lived up to the height once again with another to power Manchester City to a resounding 0-2 win over Newcastle United and was once again adjudged man of the match in the game.

The Cityzens after that win at the St. James Park have now solidified their chances heading into the second of the Carabao Cup semi-final

The game was a very dicey one with the Magpies giving their visitors a very difficult game right from onset most especially at half time which ended with no goal produced.

However, jusr eight minutes into recess, Jeremy Doku’s cross that came off Bernardo Silva fell kindly for Antoine Semenyo who connected into the net from far post to open the scoring account.

In the closing moment, French playmaker Rayan Cherki came off the bench to find the net also to wrap up the win for the Sky Blues and has giving them a commanding lead heading into the return encounter next month.

After securing back to back best player of the match accolades, Semenyo is very pleased with his great start and it’s looking forward for more as the season progresses

“Tough game today but if we stuck in there we knew we would get chances. I was in the right area to tap it in and we were victorious so I am happy.

“The whole environment here is perfect. Everyone is confident and wanting achieve the best. I have come into that and they helped with my confidence and made me feel welcome. It’s been a lot but I have enjoyed it so far. I am picking things up very quickly and enjoying it.

“I am just taking the confidence I had from Bournemouth here and playing with a smile on my face. I am enjoying every moment.”

Antoine Semenyo who just joined last week three goal-involvements (2 goals, 1 assist) so far in two matches and will hope to make the starting XI once again against city rivals Manchester United over the weekend
