Swedru All Blacks have paid a heartfelt tribute to their female supporters, acknowledging the vital role they played throughout a demanding 2025/26 campaign that saw the club narrowly avoid relegation.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with SportsnetghTV, the club’s Communications Director, Nathaniel Obeng, praised the unwavering commitment of the team’s female supporters, describing them as an integral part of the club’s identity and success.

According to Obeng, the passion, loyalty and energy displayed by women supporters throughout the season helped inspire the players during some of the club’s most difficult moments.

“To every woman who stood with us, cheered for us, and painted the stands with your passion, thank you,” the club stated in its tribute. “Your unwavering support, energy and belief in Swedru All Blacks throughout the season made every home match special.”

The gesture comes after a challenging season in which the “Black Magicians” fought hard to preserve their league status. Despite facing numerous obstacles, the club managed to avoid relegation, with supporters playing a significant role in boosting morale both on and off the pitch.

Nathaniel Obeng emphasised that the contribution of female fans extends far beyond matchdays, noting that their continuous encouragement, engagement and loyalty have helped strengthen the bond between the club and the wider Swedru community.

He further stressed that the club remains committed to creating an inclusive environment where women feel valued and recognised for their contribution to the growth of football.

The former Ghana Premier League side believes the strong relationship between the team and its supporters will provide a solid foundation as preparations begin for the 2026/27 season.

Swedru All Blacks concluded their message by reaffirming their appreciation to all women associated with the club, describing them as an important part of the team’s journey and pledging to continue celebrating their contribution both on and off the field.

The tribute has been warmly welcomed by supporters, many of whom have applauded the club for recognising the significant role women continue to play in the development and success of football in the municipality.
