OFFICIAL: FC Ashantigold 04 unveil Richard Boadu ‘Agadas’
Access Bank Division One League outfit FC Ashantigold O4 have strengthened their squad with the addition of former Asante Kotoko captain Richard Boadu, famously known as ‘Agadas.’
The combative middleman after a fruitful negotiations signed a deal that will run until the end of the ongoing season.
The 27-year-old joins the Miners to help improve the team for the rest of the season, bringing on board the Premier League experience and exposure as they aim for promotion.
Boadu is well known to Ghanaian football fans for his time at Asante Kotoko, where he established himself as a combative and reliable presence in midfield and was an integral member when they won the league in the 2021/22 season.
AshantiGold will hope Boadu’s experience and leadership will play a key role in their ambitions during the second half of the Division One season.
The move marks a fresh chapter for the former Medeama and Al-Ahly Benghazi man as he looks to make an immediate impact at the Obuasi-based club.
The Miners are leading Zone 2 of the Division One League with 27 points despite having a game to spare and will host Soccer Interllectuals this weekend
