Ten-Man Parin FC Edge Desire FC to Stay Top of ANDFA Zone Two
Parin FC remain firmly on course to clinch the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Zone Two League title after securing a hard-fought 2–0 victory over Desire FC at the Police Depot Park in Accra.

It was a must-win encounter for Parin FC to sustain their title ambitions, but Desire FC — whose league position remains precarious — were determined to make it a difficult afternoon.
As anticipated, the contest proved intense, with both sides battling fiercely and the momentum swinging from end to end. Neither team was willing to compromise, and the first half ended goalless despite several promising exchanges.
Upon the restart, Parin FC head coach Eric Nyarko made key tactical adjustments, notably repositioning Raphael Tetteh into a deeper midfield role. The switch allowed Parin to assert greater control and dominate proceedings.
However, their dominance was briefly disrupted when Clinton Amponsah received a second yellow card for an indiscretion, resulting in his dismissal and reducing Parin to ten men.
Undeterred by the numerical disadvantage, Parin FC pressed on with determination. Their resilience paid off when leading striker Michael Ayertey capitalised on a defensive mix-up to break the deadlock.
Eager to secure the points, Parin continued to apply pressure, and Ayertey’s persistent attacking runs forced defender Samuel Etor into turning the ball into his own net for an unfortunate own goal.
Parin FC held firm for the remainder of the match to seal a crucial victory, maintaining their position at the top of the table and keeping their zonal league title aspirations firmly on track.
