With just 24 days remaining before Ghana’s opening match at the FIFA World Cup, Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has delivered a stirring message to supporters, rallying the nation behind what he described as a defining mission for Ghanaian football.

In a passionate address to fans, Carlos Queiroz acknowledged the enormous task ahead but insisted the team is fully prepared to embrace the sacrifices, discipline and commitment required to compete on the world stage.

“Today, with 24 days remaining before our first World Cup challenge, we begin what many may call a Mission Impossible,” Queiroz stated.

The veteran coach stressed that success at the tournament would demand unity, relentless hard work and an unwavering desire to represent the pride and prestige of Ghana.

“We know the price that must be paid — sacrifice, discipline, relentless effort, and total dedication — if we are to honour the dreams and expectations of the people of Ghana,” he added.

Queiroz also called on the team to adopt a different mentality from the very beginning of their World Cup journey, insisting that true achievement can only come through exceptional commitment and togetherness.

The message has already sparked excitement among Ghanaian football fans, with many viewing it as a strong signal of the determination within the Black Stars camp ahead of the global showpiece.

The coach concluded with an emotional rallying cry aimed at uniting players and supporters alike:

“One Team. 33 million hearts. One heartbeat. The journey starts now.”

Ghana will be hoping to make a strong impression at the FIFA World Cup as preparations intensify ahead of the tournament opener.
