BlackStars skipper Andre Ayew has sealed a move to French side Le Havre as a free agent for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
The 33-year-old is back in the French Ligue after eight years, having last played for Olympique Marseille.
The U-20 World Cup winner signed for English side, Nottingham Forest as free agent during the 2022/23 league season but could not live up to expectation under his former boss Steve Cooper.
After five months of being without a club, the forward is now confident of making history with his new side.
The former Swansea man bagged 44 goals in 160 appearances the last time he featured in the French Ligue.
His addition in the team would be of great benefit to the club as they sit on sixth position eyeing the trophy this time round.
Ayew’s return in active club football comes as good news to Ghanaians as he leads the four-time African champions in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
