VIRTUAL SEAT: Asante Kotoko makes over GH18,000 against Kotoku Royals
Asante Kotoko continue to rake in some significant amount of monies from their innovative Virtual Seat Challenge during these moments of crisis in Ghana Football.
The innovation was started last season where the club used that opportunity to call in funs who are unable to visit Asante Kotoko games to pay some amounts to the club to help sustain the club during these hard times of empty stadia during football games.
The Virtual Seat Challenge gave Asante Kotoko over 200,000 cedis in their dominant 2021/22.
The defending Ghana Premier League champions raked in over GH18,354.64 cedis in their Match Day 15 game against Ada Kotoku Royals at Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Sunday.
The team returns to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, 06 February, 2023 in a night football encounter against Accra Lions at 6 PM with the Virtual Seat Challenge in full force.
Asante Kotoko are currently 5th on the league table with 24 points after 15 games.
