           Ivorian Striker Abdel Latif Bamba

Aduana Stars Football Club have officially terminated the contract of Ivorian striker Abdel Latif Bamba with immediate effect, the club has announced.

The 27-year-old forward, who joined the Ghana Premier League side in August last season, has seen his time with the Dormaa-based club come to an abrupt end following what sources describe as a mutual agreement between both parties.

While the club has not issued a detailed statement outlining the reasons behind the termination, it is believed that Bamba’s limited impact on the pitch, coupled with tactical changes within the squad, influenced the decision.

Bamba made only a handful of appearances for the Ogya Boys during the 2024/25 season, struggling to cement a place in the starting line-up. His performances fell short of expectations, and he failed to register a goal during his brief stint.

Despite the premature end to his contract, Aduana Stars expressed gratitude to the striker for his time at the club and wished him the best in his future endeavours.

The departure of Bamba opens the door for Aduana Stars to explore new attacking options ahead of the upcoming season. The club is reportedly in the market for reinforcements as they aim to bolster their squad and mount a stronger challenge in the next campaign.

Supporters of the club will be keenly watching developments in the transfer window, as the management seeks to bring in fresh talent to strengthen the team’s attacking prowess
