Kamaldeen Sulemana Undergoes Medical Ahead of Atalanta Move

Ghanaian international Kamaldeen Sulemana is currently undergoing a medical examination ahead of a proposed transfer to Italian Serie A outfit Atalanta.

The 22-year-old winger, who last played for English side Southampton, is expected to finalise the move in the coming days, pending the successful completion of his medical tests and final agreement on personal terms.

Atalanta have been long-time admirers of Sulemana’s pace, flair, and attacking prowess, and are keen to bolster their squad with his signature ahead of the new season, especially with their UEFA Champions League campaign looming.

Sulemana joined Southampton from French club Rennes in January 2023 but struggled to secure regular playing time, particularly after the club’s relegation to the Championship. A move to Bergamo now offers a fresh start and the opportunity to reignite his career in one of Europe’s top leagues
