Kamaldeen Sulemana feels at home at his new club

Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana has been welcomed at his new club in the English Premiership after completing a last minute transfer from Stade Rennais.

The 21-year-old winger moved from France to Southampton on the last day of the winter transfer window in a $25 million move last Wednesday.

Kamaldeen went on to have his Premier League debut on Saturday when his side got thrashed by Brentford 3-0 at the Brentford Community Stadium.

He played 45 minutes for his new side who are being threatened by relegation but could not save their blushes in the hands of the Sussex.

He has, however, been speaking with the club’s media on how he is settling down in the team and what he brings on table in helping the team survive relegation.

“It’s been good (settling in the team), everyone is friendly here, everyone speaks English so it makes it easy to understand everything. I am settling in quiet well.

“It feels good to know how to play in the Premier League, now it is about getting everything right and making sure we win games and moving forward.

“I’m yet to experience it all. Looking from outside you clearly see it as competitive league. They’ve got great players, great teams. It is a place, it is a league you can learn a lot from. Looking from outside and what I’m seeing, I’m yet to experience it all and looking forward for it.”

The former Right to Dream footballer signed a three and half year deal for the English Premier League side till the end of the 2026/27 season.
