Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are actively pursuing a deal to sign former Nsoatreman FC winger Foster Apetorgbor, a source close to the negotiations has revealed.

The highly-rated wide man is currently a free agent after parting ways with Nsoatreman at the end of the 2024/25 season. His impressive performances during the first half of the campaign attracted interest from several top-tier clubs.

“Kotoko have made initial contact with Apetorgbor’s representatives,” the source disclosed. “Talks are ongoing, but no agreement has been reached yet.”

Apetorgbor, who joined Nsoatreman from Asekem FC, quickly established himself as a key figure in the club’s attacking set-up. He played a pivotal role in their Ghana FA Cup triumph two seasons ago, scoring the winning penalty in the final against Bofoakwa Tano.

Asante Kotoko, 24-time champions of Ghana, are in the process of rebuilding their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season following a disappointing Premier League campaign.
