In a landmark moment for Ghanaian sport, table tennis stars Emmanuel Commey and James Marfo have made history by becoming the first Ghanaian men’s doubles pair to reach the semi-finals of a World Table Tennis (WTT) event.

 

Their breakthrough performance came at the ongoing WTT Contender tournament in Lagos, Nigeria, earning them widespread acclaim and sparking a wave of national pride.

 

The duo’s inspiring journey has raised hopes of a potential podium finish, as they prepare for a challenging semi-final clash. The entire nation is now united in support, willing them on to go one step further and secure a historic medal.
