Asante Kotoko Head Coach Seidu Zerbo continue to pick up results in between games in the Ghana Premier League since his arrival to the club.
He lays bare to the fact that injuries have had a greater toil on the team’s ability to be consistent with positive results in the season.
Asante Kotoko have not won a game on the road in their last five outings against Aduana Stars, RTU, Karela United, Bibiani Goldstars and Dreams FC.
The former Burkina Faso coach states the injuries in the team have it made it difficult to churn out results that would lead them to defending the league trophy after he admitted that Dreams FC deserved the victory on Sunday.
“The home team played very well and they deserve to win, we have about seven players that are absent so we have to accept that they played better than us.
“We always change the team because of injuries so it was some kind of experiment today.
“I am a professional coach so can’t complain about the injury situation. The players available are those who I’m going to work with.”
Asante Kotoko finished third on the league log with 27 points after 17 games in the first round of the Ghana Premier League 2022/23 season.
