Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Hohoe United have confirmed that their first-choice goalkeeper, Daniel Amissah, has signed a fresh two-year contract extension with the club.

The 26-year-old shot-stopper, who played a pivotal role in Hohoe United’s historic promotion to the top flight, has committed his future to the club until 2027.

Club officials expressed their delight at securing Amissah’s services, highlighting his leadership qualities, consistency, and experience as key to the team’s ambitions ahead of their maiden Premier League campaign.

Amissah, visibly pleased after inking the new deal, described the extension as a sign of mutual trust between himself and the club.
“Hohoe United is like family to me. The management, my teammates, and the supporters have shown me great love. Extending my contract was an easy decision. I am ready to give my all to help the club succeed in the Premier League,” he said.

The deal comes as a major boost for Hohoe United as they prepare to make their mark in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, with the club keen on building a competitive squad to ensure survival and possibly challenge for honours.
