Ghanaian champions Police Ladies have recorded their first win of the ongoing WAFU Zone B CAF Champions League qualifiers after beating Beninese side Sam Nelly by 3-1.

The ‘Service with Integrity’ outfit opened the scoring account in just fourteen minutes from kickoff courtesy Grace Animah who converted nicely from the spot-kick before Sarah Nyarko added the other to finish 2-0 up at half-time.

Deborah Afriyie added the other to wrap up the win for Police Ladies who have made a sweet amends to return on winning ways after losing their first game to Nigerian giants Bayelsa Queens.

Sam Nelly FC also approached the game with so much confidence from their last game of which they won by 1-0 over Togolese champions ASKO.

Police Ladies will now face Association Sportive de La Kozah of Togo in the next round of matches.
