Head Coach of Angola National Team Pedro Gonclaves has sounded a stern warning to newly appointed Head Coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton of causing troubles for him ahead of the next round of matches in AFCON Qualifiers.

Angola takes on Ghana in the next round of matches in the AFCON 2023 Qualifier to be held in Cote D’Ivoire in a double-header encounter at Cape Coast and Luanda in March.

Both countries have amassed four points each after two round of matches and will be looking forward to taking on this game head on, in both encounters, to cement the top spot in the Group.

Pedro Goncalves, after congratulating the former Newcastle United gaffer, cautioned Hughton of not playing friendlies with him when they meet in March 2023.

“He is an experienced coach and right now that he is in charge of the Ghana national team…I hope he is going to do a good job but my work right now is to create trouble for him,” Goncalves said.

Ghana welcomes Angola on Match Day 3 of Group E of the AFCON Qualifiers on 20th March at 17:00 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium before traveling to Luanda in a week time for the return leg.
