Former Kotoko Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim Inspires Next Generation in Addis Ababa
Former Asante Kotoko Sporting Club talismanic goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim, has expressed his joy after visiting the Zeezo SC Academy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he interacted with budding footballers and inspired them with his journey in the game.
The former Ghana U-20 and U-23 international, who also featured for the Black Stars, took the opportunity to share valuable lessons about discipline, hard work, and perseverance. He encouraged the youngsters to stay committed to both their education and football careers, stressing that determination and focus are essential for success at the highest level.
Danlad, who rose through the ranks of Kotoko to become one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League, also highlighted the importance of mentorship in shaping young talent. His visit was warmly received by the Zeezo SC Academy coaches, players, and the wider football community.
