The Democracy Cup trophy tour made a significant stop at the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) as part of its nationwide campaign to engage citizens ahead of the much-anticipated competition.

Officials of the NCCE warmly received the organisers, praising the initiative for linking football with the promotion of democratic values, civic responsibility, and national unity. The visit forms part of a broader outreach programme aimed at creating awareness about the importance of participation in democratic processes while building excitement for the forthcoming Democracy Cup fixture.

According to the organisers, the trophy tour is designed not only to celebrate the game of football but also to strengthen collaboration with institutions that champion good governance and civic education. The NCCE pledged its support to the initiative and encouraged Ghanaians, especially the youth, to embrace both the sporting and democratic spirit of the campaign.
