Ghana men U-17 national team continues their preparation towards the tournament coming to after playing out a pulsating 1-1 draw against first division side Golden Kick FC earlier today at the Union Park at Legon.
The game was really a very exciting one that will definitely give coach Prosper Narteh Ogum a fair idea of his team and has definitely picked some lessons going forward
The team was captained by Benab FC young sensation Joseph Narbi – who has been with the team for some time and is there alongside some talented youngsters as well who are willing to wave the flag of Ghana high in the upcoming WAFU tournament.
The Black Starlets will take on Auroras next this Friday and it will serve as the curtain raiser for the game between Hearts of Oak and Hohoe United in the opening fixture of the 2025-26 Ghana Premier League.
Ghana in the upcoming WAFU Zone B U-17 championship have been drawn in Group A alongside host Côte d’Ivoire, Togo and Niger.
The two-time world champions will kickoff their campaign on September 20, against Togo.
