The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the Black Queens will face the England Women’s National Team in an international friendly on 2nd December 2025 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton.

This fixture forms part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), to be staged in Morocco, and is expected to provide the Black Queens with a stern test against one of the world’s leading sides.

England, the reigning UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 champions and finalists at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, boast some of the finest talents in the women’s game, making this clash a valuable opportunity for the Black Queens to measure themselves at the highest level.

For Ghana, the encounter will not only sharpen the team ahead of continental competition but also showcase the progress of women’s football in the country on an international stage. The match will also provide Ghanaian players with exposure against top-tier opposition, while strengthening relations between the GFA and The Football Association (FA).

Fans can look forward to an exciting contest as both teams aim to give a strong account of themselves in what promises to be a memorable occasion in Southampton.
