FIFA Merges September and October International Breaks for Upcoming Season
FIFA has confirmed a significant adjustment to the football calendar for the forthcoming season. The traditional international breaks in September and October will be consolidated into a single, extended window.
Under the revised schedule, players will be released for international duty from 21 September to 6 October, providing national teams with a longer, uninterrupted period to complete their fixtures.
The change is designed to ease fixture congestion and assist clubs in managing their domestic and continental commitments more effectively.
