Otto Addo Visits Injured Mohammed Fuseini After Successful Surgery
Ghana Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has paid a visit to forward Mohammed Fuseini following the player’s recent ankle surgery.

Fuseini, who plies his trade with Belgian Pro League side Union Saint-Gilloise, sustained the injury earlier in the season, forcing him to undergo surgery which will rule him out of action for several weeks.
The 22-year-old attacker has been one of Ghana’s promising young prospects, having made headlines in May when he found the back of the net during the Unity Cup, a special commemorative fixture held in Accra. His strong performances for both club and country have marked him as a player with significant potential for the future.

Coach Addo’s visit is seen as a morale boost for Fuseini as he begins his rehabilitation process. The Black Stars boss has emphasised the importance of maintaining close ties with his players, particularly those sidelined through injury, as part of his broader commitment to building a strong and united national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Union Saint-Gilloise are expected to provide further updates on Fuseini’s recovery timeline, but he is not anticipated to return to competitive football until later in the campaign.
