Major General Khaled Abu Zeina, Vice President of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation, affirmed that the board of directors, led by Eng. Yasser Qamar, works with team spirit, stressing that all attempts to create division among members have failed in the face of cooperation and understanding within the federation.
Abu Zeina emphasized that African, Arab, and international achievements are the strongest response to skeptics, confirming that player selection is based solely on merit, denying any favoritism towards player Seif Abed.
He praised the performance of the federation’s Executive Director, Hassan Abed, describing him as a “safety valve,” and extended thanks to media professional Mona Abdel Karim for her successful organization of the African Youth Championship. He also expressed appreciation for Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, considering him a key partner in the success of Egyptian volleyball.
