Ghanaian goalkeeper Kwame Baah has penned a one-year contract extension with Djibouti Premier League champions AS Ali Sabieh.

Baah, who joined the club last season, played a pivotal role in their domestic triumph, helping the side secure yet another league title. His commanding presence between the sticks and consistent performances earned him recognition as one of the standout goalkeepers in Djibouti’s top flight.

The extension comes at a crucial moment, as AS Ali Sabieh prepare to represent Djibouti in the CAF Champions League this season. The club will be aiming to make history by progressing beyond the preliminary rounds, and Baah’s experience will be vital in their continental campaign.

The former Ghana U-23 shot-stopper previously featured for Asante Kotoko and Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League before moving abroad to continue his career.

AS Ali Sabieh officials expressed confidence that Baah’s leadership and shot-stopping abilities will provide the squad with the stability required for both their domestic defence and African adventure.
