The Moroccan youth volleyball team secured an exciting 3-1 victory over Rwanda in the match determining fifth and sixth place at the African Youth Volleyball Championship, currently taking place in Egypt until September 21.
Set Scores:
• First Set: Morocco 25 – Rwanda 20
• Second Set: Morocco 17 – Rwanda 25
• Third Set: Morocco 25 – Rwanda 20
• Fourth Set: Morocco 26 – Rwanda 24
With this win, Morocco claimed fifth place in the championship, while Rwanda finished sixth.
The match was attended by Ms. Bushra Hajij, President of the African Volleyball Confederation, who was there to support the development of volleyball across the continent.
The current edition of the championship features eight teams: Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Cameroon, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, all competing fiercely to achieve the best results.
