The 2024/25 Ballon dโ€™Or ceremony delivered history, emotion and milestones on a glittering night in Paris. Ousmane Dembรฉlรฉ was crowned the worldโ€™s best player, becoming the sixth Frenchman to lift footballโ€™s most prestigious individual honour, while Spainโ€™s Aitana Bonmatรญ secured the womenโ€™s Ballon dโ€™Or for a second consecutive year.

 

The evening also celebrated the next generation, with teenage sensations Lamine Yamal and Vicky Lรณpez recognised as the best young players in the menโ€™s and womenโ€™s categories respectively. Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hanna Hampton took home the Yashin Trophies for goalkeeping excellence, while Viktor Gyรถkeres and Ewa Pajor were rewarded as the most prolific scorers of the season.

 

Arsenal were named Womenโ€™s Club of the Year, highlighting their resurgence on the continental stage, while Paris Saint-Germain secured the Menโ€™s Club of the Year title. In coaching, Luis Enrique and Sarina Wiegman were honoured with the Johan Cruyff Trophies for their tactical brilliance.

The Socrates Trophy went to the Xana Foundation, in recognition of their outstanding humanitarian and social impact.
