Sarkodie commits to complying with NSA rules ahead of Rapperholic concert at Baba Yara Stadium
Ghanaian rap star Sarkodie has assured full compliance with the National Sports Authority’s (NSA) regulations as preparations intensify for the upcoming Rapperholic Homecoming concert. The event is scheduled to be held at the Baba Yara Stadium, a venue primarily used for football matches.
This assurance came shortly after NSA Director General Yaw Ampofo Ankrah issued a warning regarding the condition of the stadium. He emphasized that while the stadium is available for the concert, the pitch must remain undisturbed to avoid penalties that could affect future football events.
In response, Sarkodie took to X (formerly Twitter) to publicly affirm his commitment to upholding all set rules. “The rules were set from day one, and we are not ready to break them,” he stated, reinforcing his respect for the guidelines laid down by the sports authority.
Thousands of music lovers are expected to gather in Kumasi for the concert, highlighting the event’s significance in the city’s cultural calendar.
