Head coach of Ghana’s U17 national team, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has lauded Asante Kotoko following their recent triumph over Nigerian side Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup.

According to Ogum, the name Kotoko alone commands respect across the continent and often strikes fear into their opponents. He expressed his admiration for the team’s performance and highlighted their potential to achieve greater success if they remain united and focused.

“The name ‘Kotoko’ alone carries weight and instils fear in opponents. I am impressed with the team for their win against Kwara United. United and focused, they can achieve much more in Africa,” Ogum remarked.

The Porcupine Warriors, who are regarded as one of Africa’s most decorated clubs, continue to build momentum in their continental campaign. Ogum believes their recent display is a sign of the club’s renewed strength and ambition to reclaim their status as one of Africa’s football powerhouses.
