Benjamin Asare, Kwasi Sibo, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, and Ebenezer Annan have reported to the Black Stars camp in Morocco ahead of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

The quintet’s arrival bolsters Otto Addo’s squad as preparations intensify for the crucial Group I fixture against the Central African Republic in Meknès on Tuesday, 8 October. The team will then return to Accra to host Comoros on Saturday, 12 October.

The players are expected to take part in their first full training session this evening as the technical team works on fine-tuning tactics and team cohesion ahead of the upcoming encounters.

The Black Stars will be hoping to secure maximum points from both fixtures to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
