Medeama SC Honour Kamaradini and Prince Owusu for Key Roles in Ghana’s World Cup Qualification

Medeama SC players formed a guard of honour for Kamaradini Mamudu and Prince Owusu in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The brief but heartwarming ceremony took place at the Akoon Park training ground in Tarkwa, where players, technical staff, and club officials lined up to applaud the two Black Stars players as they joined their teammates for training.

Both Kamaradini  Mamudu and Prince Owusu were instrumental in Ghana’s successful qualifying campaign, putting in spirited performances that helped the Black Stars book their ticket to the World Cup, which will be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Head coach Evans Adotey praised the pair for their professionalism and commitment, noting that their achievements on the international stage reflect Medeama’s growing reputation for developing top-quality players.

“We are proud of Kamaradini and Prince. They represented the club and the country with distinction. Their hard work and discipline have paid off, and they serve as great examples to every player here,” he said.

Both players expressed gratitude to their club for the recognition, promising to continue giving their best for Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League and on the continental stage.
