Kwesi Appiah confirms talks with Simba SC

Kwesi Appiah has confirmed talks between his agents and Simba Club of Tanzania to become the club’s Technical Director.

The former Black Stars coach has been unattached since he left his job as the Black Stars coach in December 2019 during his second stint.

James Kwesi Appiah will be moving to the Tanzanian side should talks reach a conclusive point as it is seventy percent done.

“We are still talking and we are in advanced negotiations, it’s about 70% now. Hopefully we conclude everything soon.” Kwesi Appiah said.

Simba SC are participating in the CAF Champions League for the 2022/23 season and will be strengthening their squad should the Ghana join the club’s technical team.

They have played two times in the group stages of the continental game and have lost all two against Horoya by 3-0 and Raja Casablanca by 3-0.

They are second on the Tanzanian league table with 53 points behind Young Africans who are league leaders with 59 points after 22 games.
