Head coach of Hearts of Oak Slavko Matic has praised Aduana Stars for their victory over his side on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak started the second round with an ambition of rallying back to annexing the league diadem by defeating opponents Aduana Stars in their first game of the second round.

However, league leaders Aduana Stars continued their wonderful performance this season by displaying exceptional football to beat Hearts of Oak in Accra by 2-0 to possibly dent the ambitions of the Accra side.

After the game, the Serbian tactician lauded the Dormaa-based side for putting up an efficient performance to steal all three points in the games.

“I must congratulate Aduana Stars for this victory, they get two shots on goal, two goals,” says Matic.

Hearts of Oak stay at the Accra Sports Stadium to play away to Great Olympics in the Match Day 19 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
