Former Bayern Munich manager and current Germany head coach, Julian Nagelsmann, has shared his thoughts on the upcoming international friendly between Germany and Ghana, describing it as a valuable preparatory exercise for his side.

Nagelsmann indicated that the encounter would provide the German team with important insights into the style of play they are likely to face against Côte d’Ivoire at the FIFA World Cup.

“We are very much looking forward to the match against Otto Addo’s team. Ghana’s strong transition play will give us a clear idea of what to expect in our World Cup group fixture against Côte d’Ivoire,” Nagelsmann said.

The friendly is expected to offer both teams an opportunity to assess their readiness ahead of major international assignments, with Ghana using the match to sharpen preparations under head coach Otto Addo, while Germany view it as a crucial tactical test ahead of the global showpiece.
