Swiss Coach Fritz Markus Schmid Appointed Head Coach of Gold Stars

Swiss international coach Fritz Markus Schmid has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Bibiani Gold Stars on a two-year contract.

Schmid brings a wealth of experience to the club, having previously worked as an assistant coach at English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, Swiss giants FC Basel, and with the Austria national team. He later progressed to a head coaching role, where he took charge of the New Zealand men’s national team.

 

The appointment is expected to strengthen Gold Stars’ technical direction as the club looks to build on recent performances and achieve greater success in domestic competitions.
